Penicillin

Scotch, Ginger, Lemon, Honey
The Story

Ingredients
  • 2 oz Blended Scotch Whiskey

  • 4 slices Fresh Ginger

  • ¾ oz Lemon Juice

  • ¾ Honey Syrup (3:1)

  • ¼ oz Islay Scotch Whiskey

Preparation
  1. Muddle ginger in shaking tin

  2. Add blended Scotch, Lemon Juice and Honey syrup to the tin

  3. Shake with ice for 15 seconds

  4. Double strain into a lowball with a large ice cube

  5. Float the Islay scotch on top

  6. Garnish with candied ginger on a cocktail pick
