Hey there! You can call me BC. I am one of the founders of the Runaway Anchor. We are so happy that you are here.​​

"What is the Runaway Anchor?", you might ask. Well, first off it is not a physical location, so no need to start google mapping it. The Runaway Anchor is a bit of a concept cocktail and mocktail bar. We regularly gather with friends to make cool cocktails and raise glasses together. At one point we started making cocktail bar menus for those gatherings, and out of that came this idea. To build a cocktail community that would let more people try our menus, follow our cocktail and mocktail journey and be a part of the Runaway Anchor Club.

We launched in 2023 with membership cards and a basic website. In the time since we have developed hundreds of drink recipes and have done over 10 seasonal menus. We launched a Patreon in late 2024 to help with paying for our digital backend and fund some occasional swag!

Now in 2025 we are taking our previous Patreon Only YouTube channel to the wider audience! And overhauling our entire site to make it easier to use, as we incorporate more of our different elements together into one place.
