Almond Santo Sour

Rum, Luxardo Del Santo, Lemon Juice, Orgeat, Orange Bitters, Egg White
The Story

In the never-ending search for Green Chartreuse substitutes, I picked up a bottle of Luxardo Del Santo. It didn't quite make the cut as a replacement, but it's still nice stuff. So now I keep watch for recipes that call for it specifically.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz Light Puerto Rican Rum

  • ½ oz Luxardo Del Santo

  • ½ oz Lemon Juice

  • ½ oz Orgeat

  • 1 dash Orange Bitters

  • 1 Egg White

Preparation

  1. Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker

  2. Dry shake

  3. Add ice and shake for 8-10 seconds

  4. Double strain into a chilled coupe

  5. Garnish with a lemon twist
