Pomegranate Limeade

The Story
This is a mocktail from Anders Erickson. When he launched is own brand of Grenadine he made many drinks highlighting this sweetest of syrups. This isn't your "bright red Shirley Temple" grenadine. Made from pomegranate juice and sugar, this is a syrup found in many tasty cocktails (the Jack Rose comes to mind). But if you aren't in the mood for a cocktail, this simple recipe is a sweet sipper. Good for any time of the year! Cheers! Be sure to check out Anders' syrup for yourself at Portland Syrups!
Ingredients
1 oz Grenadine (Anders' Plymouth Syrup)
1 oz Fresh Lime Juice
5 oz Topo Chico Sparkling Mineral Water (Key Lime La Croix is also nice)
Lime Wheel for Garnish
Preparation
Add all ingredients (minus Topo Chico) to a shaking tin
Add ice and shake for 5-8 seconds (short shake)
Combine the shaker with Mineral Water (pour at the same time) into a Collins glass filled with ice cubes
Option: this can be built in the glass as well, if you want to skip the shaker
