Tipperary

Irish Whiskey, Sweet Vermouth, Green Chartreuse, Angostura
The Story

This is an amazing riff on a Manhattan. Start by swapping our Rye with Irish Whiskey. That will remove the traditional spice of a Manhattan, but don't worry, we're not done! Next add a rouge sweet vermouth (if you only have the sweeter coochi di torino, cut back just a touch), and finish off with a little Green Chartreuese. This is a rare cocktail featuring green chartreuse that isn't dominated by the herbal liqueur. So give this classic cocktail a try! Cheers!

Ingredients
  • 2 oz Irish Whiskey

  • ½ oz Dolin Rouge Vermouth

  • ¼ oz Green Chartreuse

  • 2 dashes Angostura Bitters

  • Lemon Oil

Preparation
  1. Add all ingredients to a mixing glass

  2. Add ice and stir for 30 seconds

  3. Strain into a chilled Nick and Nora glass

  4. Express lemon oil across the top
