Gin Sour

Gin, Simple Syrup, Egg  White, Angostura Bitters
The Story

Ingredients
  • 1 oz London Dry Gin

  • ¾ oz Simple Syrup (1:1)

  • 1 Egg White

  • 1 oz Lemon Juice

  • 3 drops Angostura Bitters

Preparation
  1. Combine gin, syrup, and egg white in a cocktail shaker

  2. Dry shake

  3. Add lemon juice

  4. Shake with ice for 10-12 seconds

  5. Double strain into a chilled coupe

  6. Garnish with a lemon wheel and 3 drops Angostura Bitters


I've never been great at getting a good foam with dry shaking. Instead I use a battery powered milk frother. I found this cheat in a video by Steve the Bartender.
