Monte Cassino

Rye, Benedictine, Yellow Chartreuse, Lemon
The Story

One thing we love about this riff on the Last Word, is the use of all equal parts. So, it is very easy to scale up a bit, if you're in the mood. Just remember that with any drink served "up" (as in no ice), the drink is will not benefit from further dilution or further chill. It might be better to just make a couple, versus one big one! But it's your call of course.

This cocktail was invented for a Benedictine contest, and if the internet is right, it was the winner. We love the balance in this drink. If you can't get your hands on Yellow Chartreuse, there are decent knock offs out there. We hope you enjoy this one. Cheers!
